Who we are
ScaleCraft Advisors ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through scale-craft.com. You can reach us at primoz.verbic@scale-craft.com.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us and what is needed to run the site:
- Contact & qualifier data — name, email, company, role, revenue band, timing and the challenge you describe when you submit a form or complete the Scale Scorecard.
- Distributor enquiries — if you write to us through the For distributors page: your name and email, and optionally your company, telephone, role, the size of your commercial team, which difficulties you tick, how you would prefer to be contacted, and anything you write to us.
- The monthly letter — if you subscribe to ScaleCraft Monthly: your email, the language you chose, and optionally your first name and the kind of organisation you work in.
- Scale Sprint bookings — the session you book, who is attending (their name, role and work email, given to us by whoever books), what you tell us in preparation, and a recording of the session itself.
- Scorecard responses — your answers and resulting scores, so we can send your personalised report.
- Analytics data — with your consent, standard analytics identifiers (Google Analytics 4, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Meta Pixel) to understand site usage and measure advertising.
- Referral information — where you first arrived from: any campaign tags on the link you clicked (
utm_sourceand similar), the website that referred you, and the first page you landed on. This is stored in your browser for 90 days and reaches us only if you later choose to submit a form, so that we know which of our channels brought you here. - Freelance applications — if you apply through our Cooperate with us pages: your name, email, telephone, place of living, the message you write, and any files you attach (CV, work samples).
Why we use it (legal bases)
- To respond to your request and provide your report — performance of a contract / steps at your request.
- To send you relevant emails — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
- Analytics & advertising — your consent, given through our cookie banner.
- Knowing which channel brought you here — our legitimate interest in understanding which of our own posts, letters and referrals lead to enquiries, so that effort is not spent where nobody is listening. It stays in your browser and reaches us only if you choose to submit a form.
- Sending you the monthly letter — your consent, given when you subscribe. Every letter carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works without logging in; using it stops the letter immediately and permanently.
- Running a Scale Sprint, including recording it — performance of the contract you enter when you book, and our legitimate interest in producing an accurate memo and understanding how your team works. You are told before booking and again at the start; if any participant objects at the start, we do not record.
- Assessing a freelance application — your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in finding collaborators for client projects.
Who we share it with
We use trusted processors to operate the service:
- Supabase (EU region, Ireland) — the database holding form submissions and applications, and the private file storage holding any documents you attach.
- Make.com (EU) — the automation that carries a submission from this website into that database and notifies us.
- Website hosting — serves these pages.
- Calendly — booking, if you choose to book a call.
- A video meeting platform — used to hold and record Scale Sprints.
- An electronic signature provider — only where you ask us for a signed mutual NDA.
- Google, LinkedIn and Meta — analytics and advertising measurement, only after you accept the cookie banner.
- An email platform — for any newsletter you subscribe to.
We do not sell your data, and we do not pass applications to third parties.
If you book a Scale Sprint
Every Sprint is recorded, and everyone present is told so at the start. The recording is used to write your memo accurately and to understand how your team works together — nothing else. It is never published, never shared outside ScaleCraft Advisors, and never used in marketing.
You can ask for a copy at any time, and you can ask us to delete it at any time — we will, and we will confirm when it is done. Otherwise recordings are deleted 12 months after the session, or when our engagement ends, whichever comes first.
If somebody else booked the session and gave us your name and work email so we could send you the preparation questions, you can ask us at any time what we hold about you and have it removed. Write to primoz.verbic@scale-craft.com.
If you subscribe to the letter
We store your email address, your chosen language and — only if you gave them — your first name and the kind of organisation you work in. They are used for one thing: sending you the monthly letter. Your address is never sold, never rented, and never passed to anyone else.
Every letter ends with an unsubscribe link that works in one click, with no login and no questions. You may also tell us why you left, entirely optionally; it changes nothing about the unsubscribe and is only ever read by Primož Verbič. If you would rather we deleted your record altogether rather than simply stopping the letter, write to primoz.verbic@scale-craft.com and we will.
We keep subscriber records while you remain subscribed, and delete unsubscribed records once they are no longer needed to prove that you had asked to be removed.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and subscriber data for as long as you remain a contact or subscriber, and delete or anonymise it on request or when it is no longer needed. A distributor enquiry that does not lead to a conversation is deleted once it is clear there is nothing to follow up.
Freelance applications are kept for 24 months from the date you apply, so that we can consider you for projects that come up later rather than asking you to apply again. Before that period ends we will email you to say we still hold your details and ask whether you would like us to continue. If you reply asking to be removed — or write to us at any point before then — we delete your record and any files you sent.
If you apply to work with us
When you apply through the Cooperate with us pages, what you send is used for one purpose: deciding whether to work with you on a project. It is read by Primož Verbič and nobody else. It is not added to any marketing list, and you will not receive newsletters because you applied.
Files you attach are stored privately. They are not published, not linked publicly, and not readable by other applicants.
We keep your application for 24 months, then delete it. Before it expires we will email you to confirm you are happy for us to keep it. You can ask us to delete everything at any time, without giving a reason, by replying to any email from us or writing to primoz.verbic@scale-craft.com — we will do it and confirm when it is done.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email primoz.verbic@scale-craft.com. You may also complain to your national data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
