Backend / Agent Developer
Build the custom logic an agent needs when no-code tools aren't enough — tool integrations, memory handling, and orchestration behind a production-grade agent.
Freelance, project-based · billed per sprint or hourly
Objectives
- ·Implement the agreed architecture using an agent framework or direct API orchestration
- ·Wire the agent to its tools, memory store, and any custom business logic
- ·Hand off code a non-technical founder can safely operate and extend with AI-assisted tooling
Key deliverables
- ·A working, tested codebase in a shared repo with a clear README
- ·A passing test suite covering the agent's core workflows
- ·API documentation for any endpoints other client systems will call
Experience needed
- ·3+ years professional Python or Node development
- ·Hands-on experience with at least one agent framework (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI) or direct LLM API orchestration
- ·Experience with a vector database (Pinecone, Weaviate, Supabase pgvector, or similar)
- ·Comfortable working from a written spec with limited hand-holding
